This ventilation shaft is an alternative solution for ventilation in crawl spaces, basements and other spaces below ground level or bell-shaped constructions ventilation systems. The Reaxyl® ventilation shaft is suitable for both ventilation and air separation for a natural stone plinth without damage. The plastic Reaxyl® ventilation shaft provides a very good protection against rainwater over the outlet. The shaft is not completely waterproof. Through the opening at the bottom side moisture and condensation can penetrate. If each are the couplings and through-conducts, water-tight with Reaxyl® Tubefix®, possibly in combination with Reaxyl® Base-X 2K. The length of the system is flexible in length extensions of 450 mm length are available, in that cut. Standard one extension is included, extra extensions are available separately. The Reaxyl® ventilation shaft is designed for use in both new buildings and renovations. In old buildings these illuminations can be connected to existing channels of cocks. The fastening material supplied in the package is suitable for wood, concrete, as well as (brick) stone constructions. The entire ventilation consists of a PP material.
